About the role
We are looking for a Grooming Product Reviewer with 1–4 years of relevant experience to produce grooming test notes, performance comparisons, and reviews. You should have skills in consumer testing and shaving tool knowledge, with a focus on fair comparison criteria and repeatability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain grooming test notes, performance comparisons, and reviews on razor, trimmer, and grooming product evaluation, with agreed deadlines and clear version control.
- Handle assessing ergonomics, comparing specifications, and recording test limitations; document assumptions and handoffs for the next contributor.
- Use Google Sheets, product spec sheets, digital camera to produce traceable work and communicate relevant findings.
- Apply consumer testing, shaving tool knowledge, evidence logging to improve the reliability and usefulness of the final materials.
- Coordinate with grooming researchers and product review editors and check fair comparison criteria and repeatability before delivery.
Qualifications
- Relevant background in grooming equipment testing or relevant product review experience; equivalent demonstrated expertise may be considered where licensure is not required.
- Typically 1–4 years of relevant work, supported by examples of grooming test notes, performance comparisons, and reviews.
- Working knowledge of Google Sheets, product spec sheets, digital camera and a practical approach to assessing ergonomics, comparing specifications, and recording test limitations.
- Ability to apply consumer testing, shaving tool knowledge, evidence logging and communicate limitations or tradeoffs.
